Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 2026
Privacy First
At Tapadoo, we believe privacy is a fundamental right. We built Tapadoo Planner to keep your work yours: your plans live on your Mac, and we do not collect personal information about you.
No Accounts, No Sign-In
- You do not need an account to use Tapadoo Planner.
- There is no login, no profile, and no email required. We don't know who you are.
Your Plans Stay on Your Mac
- Everything you create is stored as a document on your device, or wherever you choose to save it.
- We do not upload, sync, or transfer your plans anywhere. They only leave your Mac if you explicitly export or share them yourself.
Crash Reporting
To fix bugs and keep the app stable, Tapadoo Planner includes Firebase Crashlytics, a crash-reporting service from Google. If the app crashes, it sends a diagnostic report so we can find and fix the problem. That report contains technical details only:
- a stack trace of what the app was doing when it crashed;
- your device model, your macOS version, and the app version;
- a random identifier Crashlytics generates for the installation.
These reports contain no personal information and none of the contents of your plans. We use them solely to diagnose and fix crashes.
No Analytics or Tracking
- Tapadoo Planner does not use analytics and does not track how you use the app.
- There is no advertising and no third-party tracking of your activity.
No Personal Data
We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personally identifiable information. Because there is no account and no analytics, there is simply no personal profile to build.
Your Control
- Your plans are yours; delete a document to remove it.
- If you delete the app, its local data is removed from your Mac.
